Chirmi Palace was a residential complex which is converted into a hotel, run by Thakur Vikram Singhji. He is a descendant of the house of Chomu, the senior Thikana in the state of Jaipur. The ancestor of Vikram Singhji, Thakur Manobar Dasji was credited for the subjugation of Afghanistan. The prize from this conquest helped financially for the construction of the beautiful pink city. The colors brought from the Afghans were used in the construction of the famous Panchranga ? five colored flag of Jaipur.
