Rooms in Nahargarh Fort are very big in size. These rooms were linked by corridors. Mural painting is one of the main features of Rajastahni art. Walls of this fort was designed with mural paintings. Still some walls of Nahargarh Fort
bear the mark of Rajasthani wall paintings. Frescoes are still in tact on many walls of the fort building.
Maharaja Sawai Man Singh had 9 wives. There were 9 big apartments in Nahargarh Fort for these 9 wifes. All the rooms of Nahargarh Fort are well decorated and very meticulously planned rooms. This fort in Jaipur was the hunting residence of the kings of Jaipur.
